Iconic Hollywood Fashionistas
Celebrities do take photos of their outfits and share them with family, friends, and fans on social media and some are shown on TV while some are published in magazines. As we go through all these, we admire the celebrities and somehow feel we should dress the way they do. Some go ahead and try to copy these celebrities.
Fashion in the film is a topic that everyone likes to discuss. From La Dolce Vita to Breakfast At Tiffany’s, some of these top fashion moments originate from TV shows and movies. Whether it is Castiel’s beige trench coat of Supernatural or Blair Waldorf’s iconic headband of Gossip Girl, Hollywood has brought some forever classic and unforgettable fashion statements to the world and has created huge followings. But it is these two characters have made a great impact on their sense of fashion:
Andy Sachs, The Devil Wears Prada
Andy Sachs or Andrea is a college graduate who became in the limelight after she got employed as Miranda Priestly's assistant. She's the main character in The Devil Wear Panda. She's been known as one of the most fashionably iconic characters on film. She's a journalist by profession but she isn't so much into writing as she spends much of her time helping Miranda by running errands. Her fashion style is neat and preppy yet glamorous all at once. This has made many people fall for her style. From leather pants fancy and blazers to princess coats and newsboy hats, Andy showcases a sophisticated and elite status through her outfits. The way she accessorized her looks would either be with a brown belt on top of her casual army green dress or a charmed and layered pearl necklace from Chanel.
Tyler Durden, Fight Club
Tyler Durden is the main character in the movie Fight Club adapted from a novel by Chuck Palahniuk. Many people noticed his sense of style in this movie because he never conformed to the society rules, whether it be for fashion or anything. He was styled by Michael Kaplan, and his outfits often consisted of tinted sunglasses, a red leather jacket, dress pants, Hawaiian printed button-ups, and a pair of classy loafers. With his printed shirts, leather jackets, and mussed up hair, Tyler was known for his implausibly individualistic fashion sense. This style represented his fierce, rebellious personality, and an innovative mindset. Tyler’s style has been described as nostalgic chic and vintage, with a touch of rebellion and a whole lot of edge to it.
Andy Sachs’ and Tyler Durden’s styles haven’t been matched by any characters in the fashion industry, not even in Hollywood. It takes some effort to adapt their style which appears as if it was uniquely meant for them. But if you can take your time, you’ll be able to dress like them and incorporate their iconic outfits into your everyday wear.
